The 2022 Kia comes in five trim levels, including LX, LXS, GT-Line, EX, and GT. The LXS and GT-Line also have FWD and AWD configurations. The base LX variant is equipped with a 1.6-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 180 horsepower. However, if you decide to go for a higher variant, such as the GT, then you get a 2.5-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine that puts out a massive 290 horsepower. While the base LX variant will cost you around $23,690, the GT variant has a price tag of $31,090. However, according to us, the increase in horsepower and other added features that come with the higher variant make paying the extra cash totally worthwhile!

2022 Kia K5 Fuel Economy Ratings

In terms of fuel ratings, the 2022 Kia K5 is quite impressive. For instance, the LX variant has a city and highway fuel economy of 29 mpg and 38 mpg, respectively. Meanwhile, if you opt for a higher variant, such as the GT, then you get a 24 mpg and 32 mpg city and highway fuel economy, respectively. However, while the LX variant has a fuel tank of 14.8 gallons, the GT variant comes with a 15.8-gallon fuel tank.
