Check Your Gutters

You should prevent ice dams from forming by cleaning out your gutters, installing gutter guards, and making sure your attic floor is properly insulated. Seal Cracks Around Home

We recommend you caulk up any holes, cracks, or other openings you might see around your home. This will help keep the cold air out, letting you stay warmer. We also recommend weather stripping around windows, doors, air conditioners, and other areas.

Insulate Your Pipes

Finally, we recommend that you protect your pipes from freezing by insulating those that might be at risk. Severe temperature drops can be extremely hard on your pipes, so keep a stream of water running to prevent freezing and bursting during the coldest days.
